Our History
In the early 1950’s some North Arkansas Gospel Mission Missionaries now (Rock Haven Ministries) took a small group of young people camping at the Buffalo River State Park. After seeing the positive impact that it had on the group, they began to put summer youth camp in the agenda to do each year. In 1955, they purchased 105 acres alongside what is now the Buffalo National River and Rock Haven Bible Camp was born. Later it was sold to the National Park Service to make the Buffalo River a National River. In 1983, Rock Haven Bible Camp began building the new facilities that we are using now. For the past 50 years, Rock Haven Bible Camp has provided young people with a great summer camp experience.
